There are just some things in life we will never know the answer to. Many questions we have may have to wait until eternity to be answered, but then again there are some things I’m convinced God will never give us the answers to. They are his plans and his thoughts for only him to know. You hear these questions all the time. Why would a good God allow that to happen? Things like that should never happen, what is His plan in this? Why is this happening to me? The story of Job is a fitting reminder to the things in life that we question, and you know, there comes a point when God has some questions for us.
“Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ingorant words? Brace yourself because i have some questions for you, and you must answer. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? tell me, if you know so much, do you how how its dimensions were determined and who did the surveying? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstones as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? Who defined the boundaries of the sea as it burst from the womb and as i clothed it with clouds and thick darkness? For i locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores. I said, thus far and no farther will you come. Here your proud waves must stop! Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east? Have you ever told the daylight to spread to the ends of the earth to bring an end to the nights darkness?” Job 38:1-13
So the moment you can answer any of these questions with a yes or an I have, then some things are better left knowing that God has a plan for everything and as he says in His word. “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
